Check out our giant jigsaw mural which is now on display outside our school. Each piece is unique - let's explain the meaning behind each piece.
1- This piece is displayed beside our main entrance and was completed by the Junior and senior infants. It reflects the wonderful world of nature that surrounds our school. It also has our motto "Better Together" displayed on it.
2- This is the Sunbeams logo which represents our multi-disability class. Our 1st class painted this beautifully.
3- This piece is inspired by the king of tesselation - Escher, an artist which the 5th & 6th class have been studying. They did a fantastic job of bringing maths to life with art.
4- This piece was inspired by the magnificent landscape that surrounds our school and linked to the scientific process of metamorphosis. Wow, this piece is super!
5- This special piece was created by 2nd class. Great self-portraits boys & girls - check it out and see if you can recognise anyone!
We still had time to paint a sign for our organic vegetable garden, paint a polka dot wall and blossom tree welcome seat.
