Merry Christmas Everyone - We hope you enjoy this Christmas classic with some twists along the way!

We are all participating in the ‘Walk, jog or run up to Christmas Challenge’ promoted by Mayo Sports Partnership. This is part of their ‘Keep Well’ campaign and we are delighted to take part as a way of keeping spirits – and the fitness levels – up in the lead up to Christmas. We have set our school goal as 40km so classes are aiming to run up to 1km daily in the next couple of weeks and we aim to reach our target distance by 21st December. We are doing this without leaving our school grounds but you are more than welcome to complete the route or the distance at home too! To encourage us along, we are tracking our distance on a map of the local area. We are having so much fun! We completed the challenge early, in just 13 days. Check out the photostory below which will give you a snapshot of the hard work we've put in over the past few weeks. We are fitter and stronger than ever! Well done to our junior and senior teams who represented us at the Credit Union Quiz on Friday the 31st of January.
Our senior team won 1st prize and will proceed to the regional final in late February. We are very proud of both teams! Thank you to everyone who collected rushes for this traditional activity.
Well done gach duine!
We hoped you enjoyed our show. MERRY CHRISTMAS and see you in 2020! This beautiful whole school display has the outline of 75 hands as we strive to achieve our goals together. We only coloured in anywhere our hands and arms overlapped to emphasize the connections and teamwork within our school.
