New benches have been installed on the senior yard. These consist of three semi circular benches and a large chair. It's an ideal location for children to chat, read, have circle time and it's a great place for lessons on a sunny day! Balancing beams have been installed on the junior grass area. The juniors are improving their balancing skills and having great fun on the new beams. The equipment is made from recycled plastic, is completely weatherproof and doesn't require maintainence.

The school would like to say a big THANK YOU to the Parents' Association for co-ordinating this outdoor furniture project. The Parents' Association are fundraising on an ongoing basis to ensure that the school is well equipped inside and out and to ensure that the children have full access to the curriculum. Thank you also to the Killadoon School Reunuion committee for their donation to the project and to Margaret and Kevin Campbell from the UK who holidayed in the Killeen area for years and donated money towards this project too.
