On the thirteen of June 2013 classes from 2nd to 6th had a fun run and a cycle. Austin Francis blew a horn and we were off. We ran from the bottle banks to the school. Jason came first in the run with Patrick 2nd and Matthew 3rd. I came in 4th with Fenton 5th. Getting on to the bikes, Fenton passed me out but then I over took him coming at the bridge. I passed Matthew and Patrick at the same time. By then Siobhán was closing in on Fenton. I over took Jason at Killeen crossroads. When I reached the school I ran around the back and I did an obstacle course. We went under straw bales and over straw bales, in and out of tyres and over bamboo sticks, under a net and passed the finishing line. I came 1st, Jason 2nd, and the McNally brothers came joint third. Patrick followed them and Siobhán was the first girl home. She finished 5th and Harry came 6th. We went into the school for the bazaar then.

After the duathlon on the 13th of June 5th and 6th class organised the bazaar. There were cake stalls and shops and plants, household goods, DVDs, books, toys, raffles, games and face painting. In the households there were natural cleaners that we made ourselves. Aoife, Shauna and I were at the plants and cakes. There were a lot more cakes then last year.
We had lots of games like "guess how many balloons in the car" and "which envelope has €20 in it" and the "lucky dip" where there is a hundred teddies and you close your eyes and pick out a teddy. We had bouncing castles; a big one and a small one. They were lots of fun. The first years came back to help with the Bazaar.
