It was a busy day in Killeen NS today Along with our Spanish friends arriving this morning, we were blessed with some visitors from France. Gisèle and Vivienne brought some postcards and pictures, made by pupils from Kergroës Primary School in Moëlan-sur-Mer. Pupils in 3rd & 4th class also wrote postcards to pupils in France. We had a zoom meeting so pupils had the chance to say "hi" or "salut" to their new pen pal.
Louisburgh has been twinned with Moëlan-sur-Mer for the past 10 years so this was a fabulous connection to make.
The boys and girls were treated to a little presentation on Moëlan not to mention the delicious biscuits we were treated to.
