5th and 6th class took part in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme this year. We formed teams to come up with great small businesses - healthy edible goodies, jewellery boxes, keyrings, customised phone cases and even a Jellyfish Sting Kit! We conducted market research, organised budgets and roles within our companies and pitched our ideas to the 'Dragons'. We had great feedback from our celebrity 'dragons' during 'Dragon's Den' at Killeen NS. Míle buíochas to Kris, Mary and Shauna for giving superb advice to each group and interesting ways to improve each of our business ideas. Plans for a 'Market Day' have to be shelved for the moment, but we hope to continue this project when we return to school..support local business!!
