5th and 6th class went to Allergan in Westport on 26th February. We were shown around the factory and learned about the eye drops and mecical products made in Allergan. We got to see the process that they go through from the very start right up to when they reach the shelves. We really enjoyed watching the forklifts in the huge warehouse. The factory employs approx. 1,000 people and who knows, maybe some of us might work there in the future?
