We had three super cute visitors to the middle room today. Thank you so much to Khloe's mum Madeleine who brought them in for us to interact with and to Khloe who taught us all about the incubation process.

This week's art lesson was inspired by Donegal based artist Emily Bazeley. Emily uses natural materials which have been found on forest floors, in gardens, and beaches to create stunning fairy dresses.
It was a case of up, up and away for the children of 2nd to 6th class today as they learned about space travel in the past and the plans for the future. They also got a create their own Mayo based Space Portal. Thank you to Deirdre for running this workshop. In art today the children created beautiful God's Eyes. We learned that God's Eyes originated in Mexico. The center eye represents the sun and spiritual power, while the crisscrossing sticks and colored threads symbolize the basic elements, cardinal directions, and prayers for blessings like health, long life, and protection. |
