Last week, we shared with you how we’re preparing for our 50th anniversary celebrations while keeping our next Green Schools goal in mind: Marine Environment.
Instead of using chemical weedkillers that can be harmful to aquatic life, , we made our own solution: a mix of salt, vinegar, and a little washing-up liquid. It’s safe, simple, and gentle on the environment.
Well… drumroll please!
Here are the after photos — and we’re delighted to say it worked! The weeds have died, the school grounds are looking tidy and cared for, and best of all, we’ve kept harmful chemicals out of the ecosystem.
