Guess who's thrilled with their new running tops?!
Hard to believe but this is only half our running group! Check back again after Easter when the other half hit the road.
Pupils in 3rd & 4th class started working on an idea to get some sponsorships for some running tops way back in October. They ended up writing to a few local businesses with the intention of persuading them to sponsor us. We were over the moon when Kris from Big Style got back to us straight away to let us know they'd love to support us and fund the while shebang! We were over the moon
Thank you SO much Big Style and we're looking forward to Kris joining us on a run very soon.
Once we had the funding, we had to start designing.
Two competitions were held in the senior rooms as we needed to come up with a name for our running group and a logo for our tops.
️Reeva came up with our official name KILLEEN ROAD RUNNERS.
️Jasmine designed the beautiful logo you can see on the front. ️
Of course, we also kept some space for the cool Big Style logo on the back!
The sun was shining for us on our first day out running in style.
