Workshop 5 at our Green Schools meeting asked the question: "what's so bad about C02 anyway?"At workshop 4 at our Green Schools meeting we tried to figure out the links between climate change and poverty.TEST YOURSELF! Comhgairdeas to our newest committee members, Paddy, Annie, Charlie, Daniel, Kevin and Tadhgan. In May, we remembered how many children live in poverty in the world. At this Green Schools meeting, the children from 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th 5th and 6th classes focused on Global Goal no.1 : NO POVERTYAt this workshop, we looked at the 17 global goals. 17 is a lot! We are going to learn more about Global Goal uimhir a 1 to begin with. We chatted about what poverty is. DID you know how many children in the world live in poverty?!? Our class fell silent : ( Those Shoes is a very good story to teach adults and children about balancing NEEDS and WANTS. We got it from Louisburgh Library. |
