Stay & Play after-school service.

Our Stay and Play after-school service provides a safe, caring and enjoyable environment for children at the end of the school day.

The Sibling Hour runs from 1:30pm to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, offering a space for Junior Infants and Senior Infants to relax and play together. 

Stay and Play operates from 2:30pm to 5:30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with a range of engaging and fun activities, indoors and outdoors.

​This service is subsidised by the National Childcare Scheme (NCS), with a maximum payable of €3.86 hourly, making it reasonable and affordable for families. For further information, please contact Karen on 086 067 4463.​

The West Mayo / Maigh Eo Thiar Scór competition took place in Kilmeena yesterday evening and our school was very well represented by Áine Conneely, Ellen Dyar, Jasmine O'Malley and Róisín Keating.

Comhghairdeas mór do Jasmine who WON the solo singing category and now proceeds to Scór na bPáistí County Final on Saturday 8th March.

Very well done to Áine in the sean-nós dancing category and also to Ellen, Rósín, Áine and Jasmine in the instrumental category which was of a very high standard. There is no shortage of exceptional talent here in West Mayo in music, song and dance.

Míle buíochas to the parents of the children for getting them together to practise. Warm thanks to Christina and past pupil Seamie for their musical arrangements and tuition.
