Last Tuesday we did two experiments.
Firstly, we saw how gas is created through a chemical reaction using baking soda and vinegar. The gas had the power to inflate the balloon. Secondly, we made a volcano using the same ingredients but we added some red food colouring. Both experiments were great fun! Check out our wheelchair wheel cover designs inspired by "Izzy Wheels".
Check out their website at: https://www.izzywheels.com/ We were very lucky to be treated to a trip to Westport on the 14th of March. We went to see a show called "The Pulse Project" in Westport Townhall. It was super! Afterwards, we were treated to a trip to the playground. What a great day!
We have been learning about renewable and non-renewable energy. As part of this, we made windmills. They are now displayed on the windows in our classroom.
